Hospido — one-click SES.Hospedajes submission is shipping

We're cutting the manual SES portal step out of Hospido. Foundation just landed; the full feature follows in two more releases.

If you run a small tourist rental in Spain, you know the routine. A guest checks in, you collect their passport and contract details, and within 24 hours you have to type all of that into the SES.Hospedajes portal — by hand, through a clunky government interface, with a real fine waiting for any registration you miss. RD 933/2021 makes it the property owner's legal responsibility. The fines start at €100 and stop at €30,000.

Hospido has handled the data-capture side of this for a few months now: a clean trilingual form your guest fills in on their phone, structured into the 21 fields SES requires. But there was always a last manual step — opening the SES portal yourself and submitting it. That is what's about to disappear.

What's coming

A new owner dashboard inside Hospido where every completed guest registration shows up as a row with a single button: Enviar a SES. Click it, watch the row transition through EnviandoEnviado, pendiente de confirmaciónConfirmado with the official lote reference number appearing inline. If SES is down, Hospido queues your submission and retries automatically until it succeeds — or until 24 hours pass and we nudge you to act manually. If a field is rejected (a passport number that's the wrong length, a credential that's expired), you get a plain-Spanish explanation instead of an HTTP status code. Multi-property owners get a single audit history view across all their accommodations, with three-year retention built in.

The foundation just shipped. It's the boring layer — encrypted credential storage for each property's SES login, a tolerant data layer that won't lose anything when we extend the enum codes to match the production SES spec, and the time abstraction that keeps the upcoming retry worker honest. The next two releases land the actual SES protocol code and the dashboard you'll click.

Why I'm building this

Most of the off-the-shelf SES tools either charge per submission (€0.20–€1 per guest, which adds up fast in the high season) or bundle SES with check-in software you don't otherwise need. Hospido bundles it with the check-in form your guests already use, and the whole property module sits inside a flat €79/month bundle that also covers the booking widget and the property website. No per-submission fees. No surprise quota wall in July.

If you run a small property in Andalucía and you're tired of the manual SES dance, book a 15-minute call — or just watch this blog for the next two release notes. The feature lights up before the summer is over.
