Hospedo — refund a guest straight from the admin

When a booking falls through, issue the refund over the same card terminal the guest paid with — no trip to the bank's back office.

Taking payments online is only half the job. The other half is what happens when a booking falls through — a guest cancels, plans change, something goes wrong — and you need to give the money back. Until now that meant logging into your bank's terminal back office and hunting for the transaction. This release lets an owner issue a refund directly from the Hospedo admin, and the money goes back over the very same card terminal the guest paid with.

On any booking that was paid online, there's now a Refund button. It opens a short page showing the booking, the amount that was paid, and a field pre-filled with that amount — leave it as-is for a full refund, or lower it for a partial one. Press Issue refund and Hospedo sends the return over your bank's terminal; the booking then shows the refunded amount, so your records and the guest's match. You can't accidentally refund more than was paid, and the whole thing works in Spanish, English, and Dutch like the rest of the owner cockpit.

This is deliberately the simple, owner-in-control version. You decide when and how much to refund — nothing happens automatically behind your back. Refunds that follow your cancellation policy on their own (100% a week out, 50% a few days before, and so on), the matching credit-note invoice, and one-click "goodwill" refunds outside the policy are all designed and coming next; this first step gives you the reliable manual control to stand on in the meantime.

It's another piece of the bigger goal: letting a small property take and manage real payments through their own bank, commission-free — the friendly alternative to handing a slice of every booking to the big platforms. Charging guests, holding rooms, and now returning money all live in one place, in your language, under your control.
