Every Card Gets Its Own Visual Identity
Content cards without images now show unique, category-themed SVG patterns generated from the item's slug.
Content items across Mulhacen Labs and Sombra Audio that don't have a custom image no longer show the same flat colored block. Each card now displays a unique background pattern generated from the item's title — so no two cards look alike.
The patterns are themed by category. Plugins show synth knob layouts, sample packs show DAW arrangement views, tools display spectrum analyzers, and blog posts feature audio waveforms. The visual is subtle — a light texture behind the category label — but distinct enough that you can scan a grid of cards and tell them apart at a glance.
Because the patterns are generated from the item's slug, they're completely deterministic. The same post always shows the same pattern, with no randomness or extra files to manage. New content automatically gets its own unique visual the moment it's published.
