Hospedo now talks to Booking.com — no more accidental double bookings

We just shipped channel sync between Hospedo's direct-booking page and Booking.com calendars, so the same date can't be sold twice.

hospedo product-update hospitality

If you run a property on Hospedo and also list on Booking.com, you've probably had the awkward moment where someone asks for a date on your direct-booking page that you've already given to a Booking.com guest. Today's update closes that gap.

Hospedo now reads your Booking.com calendars in the background. Every fifteen minutes — or instantly when you tap the new "Sincronizar" button in your admin dashboard — we fetch the blocked dates from each of your rooms on Booking.com and mark them as unavailable in your direct-booking page. The next guest who tries to request that night sees the same "no availability" page they'd see if you were fully booked on Hospedo itself. The two calendars stay in lock-step without you doing anything.

Once in a while a direct guest and a Booking.com guest will book the exact same room on the exact same night within the same fifteen-minute window. When that happens, the direct booking always wins — it's already a committed customer transaction — and we send you an alert email immediately. The email has a one-tap "Open in WhatsApp" button pre-filled with the booking details, so you can message the affected guest from your phone in seconds. The affected booking is marked with a CONFLICT badge in your admin dashboard until you've resolved it manually.

The new Channel Sync section of your admin dashboard shows every room: when it was last synced, whether the last sync failed, and a button to force a fresh pull on demand. Rooms you haven't listed on Booking.com yet show up as "Sin canal configurado" — you'll see them in the list so nothing falls off your radar, but they sit quietly without trying to sync.

This is the read side of channel sync. The write side — pushing your direct bookings back into Booking.com so that side of the calendar stays current too — is the next step on our roadmap, and the plumbing we shipped today is what makes it possible.
