Casa de Doña Concha Now Has a Website Of Her Own
Our first paying hospitality client gets a trilingual property website that leads with four and a half centuries of family history and hands the booking off to Hospedo.
Casa de Doña Concha — a 17th-century manor house in Ugíjar with eleven rooms, eight room types, and a Senator in the family tree — now has a website of its own. Until today the property was effectively invisible on Google: a different Casa de Doña Concha in Sevilla ranked first for the brand name, and the only way to reach the real one was through Booking.com (with a 15–25% commission on every reservation). That changes now.
The site leads with the history. The Bueso family arrived in Ugíjar after the War of the Alpujarras in 1568 as war accountants and judges, received a carta ejecutoria de hidalguía in 1696, sent magistrates to Mexico and Guatemala in the 18th century, and produced a Senator for Granada in 1905. Doña Concepción Bueso Bataller — for whom the house is named — moved in in 1881. No other property in the Alpujarras has a story like this, so the homepage hero says it plainly: "Sleep in a senator's house — since the 17th century." Each of the eight room types — from a 13 m² budget double to a 90 m² family apartment with terrace — has its own card with photo, price-from, and a one-click handoff to the booking flow.
Everything is trilingual. Spanish is the default; English and Dutch are equal first-class citizens, because the three audiences served by the property (Spanish weekenders, Dutch and Belgian families, GR-7 hikers from across Northern Europe) all have different reasons to come and all need to read in their own language. The URLs read naturally per market — /es/habitaciones-apartamentos, /en/rooms-apartments, /nl/kamers-appartementen — and Google is told about each version via hreflang tags so the right page ranks in the right country. The WhatsApp button on every page opens a conversation with a message already pre-filled in the visitor's language and tied to the page they were reading, which solves the property's long-standing language barrier: writing is easier than calling when you don't speak Spanish.
This is Module 1 of the €1,150 core package Doña Concha signed up for. Module 2 (direct booking) is already live at donaconcha.hospedo.es and accepts the handoff from every "Book direct" button on the new site. Module 3 (Google visibility) is rolled into this delivery — sitemap, hreflang, JSON-LD LodgingBusiness schema, mobile-first performance — leaving only the off-site work (Google Business Profile claim, review strategy) to do separately. Module 6 (digital check-in via Hospido) follows in a future deployment phase. The site is currently live at donaconcha.visitalasalpujarras.es and will move to the client's own domain — casadonaconcha.es — the day she registers it on DonDominio.
