Automated SEO: Our New Optimization Loop

How we built a system that monitors, analyzes, and improves SEO across all our sites automatically.

Keeping track of SEO across multiple websites is time-consuming. Rankings shift, content goes stale, and opportunities slip by unnoticed. That's why we built an automated SEO optimization loop that monitors all our sites and identifies what needs attention.

The system pulls data from two sources: Plausible Analytics for traffic and visitor behavior, and Google Search Console for search rankings, impressions, and click-through rates. Together, they give a complete picture of how each site performs in search and what visitors do when they arrive.

Every run, the loop collects metrics across all configured domains, analyzes content performance, identifies optimization opportunities (like pages ranking just outside page one), and generates a report with prioritized recommendations. The output is written as a structured JSON file that our AIOS coordinator can pick up for scheduling and cross-site strategy.

This is the foundation for a continuous improvement cycle. Instead of periodic manual SEO audits, the system runs automatically and surfaces only the insights that matter — so we can focus on creating great content while the infrastructure handles the monitoring.
